Boy is Disney on a role.
Sure “Alice Through the Looking Glass” is a disaster in every possible way imaginable but they still had their billion dollar hit in Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War”. Plus the year looks promising with their upcoming Pixar release “Finding Dory” and even the supposedly troubled “Rouge One – A Star Wars Story” is sure to make the moolah.
In between all these big titles comes their animated “Moana”. The tale of a teenager trying to save her people with the help of a Maui demigod. Sure the premise is nothing we haven’t seen before but after the incredible “Zootopia” I wouldn’t discount anything with the Disney animation stamp on it.
Plus would you want to miss former WWE wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson take on the role he was forever destined to play – that of the aforementioned Maui demigod?
Disney’s “Moana” will be released in Singapore on the 24th of November 2016 followed by Thailand on the 1st of December 2016 and Malaysia on the 26th of December 2016.

Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped – and no one knows why.
From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Moana,” a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people.
During her journey, Moana (voice of Auli’i Cravalho) meets the once-mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder. Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity. Directed by the renowned filmmaking team of Ron Clements and John Musker (“The Little Mermaid,” “Aladdin,” “The Princess & the Frog”) and produced by Osnat Shurer (“Lifted,” “One Man Band”), “Moana” sails into U.S. theaters on Nov. 23, 2016.
